Landscape Lights are an extension of the technique used in Susannah’s Cut Lights. A layered carved “cut” is made in a porcelain panel using a large industrial saw. Each light is completely unique as the process of making the cuts is quite random and the action and the angle of the saw blade dictate the end result. In their horizontal orientation the cut porcelain references a moody mountainous landscape.
The panels are fitted into a LightBox which is designed to be wall mounted or free standing and cast soft ambient light into a space.
